STRATEGIC DESIGN & MANAGEMENT
A systemic redesign of collective decision-making manifestations.
A process focused on exploring problems of high complexity applying methods of design research and design thinking. Through the lens of human-centered design, we rapidly synthesize disparate information through an iterative process to determine new alternative directions of action. These allow us to challenge its premises in order to understand the root of the problem and thus discover new opportunities to develop innovative business models.

This is how it works...
A valuable design research process that challenges the premise of a specific problem to address more meaningful aspects in its own complexity.
Design Research
The starting point is to define a research question and its field of inquiry to later explore this through the analysis of quantitative data and the comprehension of qualitative real life observations.
Context-setting
The map is not the territory. Though, we first need to identify the stakeholders involved and understand how they relate to each other. Mapping this allows us to shed a light on potential areas of intervention.
We gather quantitative data and translate it into a visual infographic, which we then compare to the qualitative observations we gathered from real life interventions, such as, personal interviews and shadowing. This is a useful way to dive deep in the field of inquiry to better understand behavior patterns.
Research Findings
The disparate research findings are clues that lead us to alternative trajectories of action. Insights are categorized into opportunity areas to be compared with what existing players in the market are doing.
This evidence is articulated through concept development to later test our assumptions for further improvement.
Refining
We reach out to an external network of experts on the field of inquiry and continue the conversation to evaluate insights and project opportunities.
This includes a new set of interviews and workshop design to co-develop and explore concepts to generate new findings.
Innovation
A strategy outline that presents the value of the innovative opportunity. This highlights its position in the current ecosystem and how it is different from what is being offered. It also remarks what is needed for implementation and how it is a sustainable model in itself.
